A webinar with Masuma Nazari on the lived realities and silenced voices of Afghan women, past and present.

On November 26, 2025 at 11:00am, the Sacrestia of the IMT School will host Masuma Nazari, EFC Visiting Professor, for the webinar “Between Silence and Survival: Afghan Women’s Voices through my Journey”, as part of the Educating Future Citizens Project.

Masuma Nazari will present an overview of the lived realities of Afghan women who have experienced war, migration, and exile. Drawing on her personal journey, she will highlight both the restrictions and hardships women faced in Afghanistan and the new challenges they encounter after leaving their homeland and living in host countries.

The session will be in English and aims to give the public a better understanding of the struggles and silences that shape Afghan women’s lives today, bringing attention to voices that rarely reach the international stage.

When and where: 26 November 2025, 11:00am @ Sacrestia, IMT School and online via imt.lu/sagrestia
